READ Diaspora is a platform that mobilises the Albanian professional and academic diaspora to strengthen higher education, research, and institutional development in Albania.
It serves two core functions:
Facilitating joint research, PhD supervision, mentoring, and fellowships to foster academic excellence and knowledge exchange between diaspora and local scholars.
Supporting Albanian institutions through project-based assistance, capacity building, and long-term collaborations to drive systemic development and innovation of Higher Education Institutions.
The program provides a unique opportunity to tap into the underutilised potential of the Albanian intellectual diaspora, aiming to enhance capacities and drive structural improvements in Albania’s higher education system.
